Daniella Sicari, soprano

Daniella Sicari is a dynamic Australian-British soprano known for her vibrant stage presence and vocal versatility. A graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music and the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, she brings a rich blend of training, charisma, and stylistic range to her performances.

Daniella’s recent roles include Norina in Don Pasquale with Longhope Opera and the Haffner Orchestra, Maria in Donizetti’s Maria de Rudenz with Gothic Opera, and Papagena and First Lady in The Magic Flute on tour with WildArts in the UK and Germany. She’s also appeared as Clorinda in La Cenerentola, Young Beth in Little Women, and Anne Egerman in A Little Night Music, showcasing her strong comic timing and emotional depth across genres.

She has premiered new works, such as Closing Time by Ross Fiddes and A Most Wanted Man by Davismoon, and brought Ariel to life in Jonathan Dove’s staged song cycle at Waterperry Opera Festival. Her work in contemporary opera reflects a fearless approach to storytelling, with a commitment to both tradition and innovation.

Daniella is equally at home in cabaret and crossover projects. She co-created and toured Drop Me Off in Harlem, My Best Judys, and Side by Side, celebrating icons like Judy Garland and Stephen Sondheim. These projects toured venues across the UK and Australia, earning praise for their warmth and creativity.

Recognized with several awards, Daniella has been a finalist in the Peter Hulsen Orchestral Song Award and the JSRB Bel Canto Award. She’s also received the OperaBox Arts Leadership Award and the Robin Kay Memorial Prize, and has performed at the Buxton International Festival Gala and Leeds Lieder.

With her dual foundation in classical technique and theatrical flair, Daniella continues to build a vibrant and varied career across opera, concert, and cabaret stages.
