1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by Hancock Artists Ltd. (“the Agency”), a company registered in England & Wales, operating as an artist management agency. By engaging with our services, you agree to abide by these terms.
2. Company Status & Scope of Services
- Hancock Artists Ltd. acts solely as an agent and accepts no liability as a principal.
- The Agency represents artists in negotiations, bookings, and career development but does not employ or contract artists directly for performances.
- All contractual agreements for performances, engagements, and services are made directly between the artist and the hiring party (e.g., venues, promoters, production companies).
- Hancock Artists Ltd. is not responsible for financial, legal, or contractual disputes between third parties and artists.
3. Artist Representation & Agreements
- Artists represented by Hancock Artists Ltd. agree to allow the Agency to act on their behalf in securing engagements and negotiating contracts.
- Representation is subject to a signed agreement between the Agency and the Artist, outlining commission rates, duration, and specific terms.
- The Agency reserves the right to decline representation or terminate an agreement if an artist fails to meet professional standards or breaches contractual obligations.
4. Booking & Engagements
- All bookings made through Hancock Artists Ltd. are confirmed by written agreement between the hiring party and the artist.
- The Agency will facilitate negotiations but is not liable for cancellations, performance quality, or non-fulfillment of contractual obligations by either party.
- Clients engaging artists must adhere to the payment terms stated in their contracts.
- If an artist cancels an engagement, Hancock Artists Ltd. will endeavor to find a replacement but is not responsible for any resulting financial loss.
5. Fees & Commission Structure
- Hancock Artists Ltd. charges commission on all engagements secured through its representation.
- Commission rates are outlined in individual artist agreements and may vary based on the nature of the engagement.
- The Agency will invoice clients directly where applicable and deduct commissions before transferring payments to artists.
- Late payments may incur interest charges at the statutory rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act.
6. Liability & Disclaimers
- Hancock Artists Ltd. is not responsible for any loss, injury, damage, or dispute arising from agreements between artists and hiring parties.
- The Agency does not guarantee employment or engagements for any artist.
- While we strive for accuracy, Hancock Artists Ltd. is not liable for errors in promotional materials, website content, or third-party representations.
7. Termination of Services
- The Agency reserves the right to terminate an artist’s representation with 30 days’ notice or immediately in cases of misconduct, contract breaches, or reputational damage.
- Clients and artists may terminate agreements as per the terms outlined in their individual contracts.
8. Data Protection & Privacy
- Hancock Artists Ltd. complies with UK GDPR and data protection laws.
- Personal data collected (e.g., artist information, client details) is used solely for business purposes and is not shared with third parties without consent.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of English courts.
